Helping Make-A-Wish® Bring Hope to Children
Early this year, a partnership was created with Make-A-Wish® Northern and Central Florida. To honor of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World® and the hope and joy that wishes bring to children with critical illness, the Sunshine Flyer pledged to donate 50% of all revenue during the first 50 days of operation.
A wish is not a fleeting gift – it’s a carefully planned journey, designed to complement a child’s medical treatment, and give them the hope, strength and joy they need to fight their illness. Together we provided 30 transformational wishes for children with critical illness and raised almost $300,000 to stay in the local community for children to have, meet, go, and be.
The Northern and Central Florida Make-A-Wish® chapter is a top destination across the U.S. and the world. Over 8,000 children visit the theme parks, beaches, SeaWorld, and resorts. The Sunshine Flyer experience is designed to kickstart a vacation the moment you step foot in Florida with a fun, unique travel experience.
